Just a short distance on Route 17 from the Meadowlands Sports Complex is Hasbrouck Heights, a Bergen County borough that sits atop a ridge overlooking the Meadowlands and New York City to the east. The borough has a population of approximately 12,000 residents and is a densely populated suburb comprised of many single-family homes, multi-family homes, apartment buildings and condominiums. Students in kindergarten through twelfth grade are educated in the Hasbrouck Heights School District. Schools in the district include Euclid School and Lincoln School, each serving kindergarten through fifth grade, Hasbrouck Heights Middle School for sixth through eighth grade, and Hasbrouck Heights High School serving grades nine through twelve. Actor Jason Biggs and renowned entertainer Arthur Godfrey both attended Hasbrouck Heights High School.
